UDT SCRAPPING WINCH
This is a skid/trailer mounted, self contained, steel skid base structure, single drum wireline unit designed to provide a light weight, compact winch for performing light duty slickline operations.
The light weight frame incorporates a four point lifting eye for crane handling. Scrapping winch can be used for Bailing, Fluid level testing, Paraffin cutting, Setting and retrieving tools and Tag bottom. These winches can be supplied in both hydraulic & Mechanical configuration.

Winch System
- Single Drum suitable for slickline wire having capacity from 0.092’’ x 20000 ft to 0.108’’ x 15000 ft.
- Winch drum is driven by hydraulic motor via 3 speed gearbox with duplex chain and sprocket system.
- Mechanical braking system.
DEPTH AND TENSION SYSTEM
- Compact and light weight single wheel measuring head system.
- Measuring head include inbuilt depthometer for measuring depth
- Tension can be measured using weight indicator and load cell.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
- Powerful open loop hydraulic system with low maintenance for trouble free operation.
- Hydraulic tank – 150 litres.
- For mechanical configuration the drum is driven through chain and sprocket mechanism along with suitable gearbox.
LINE SPEED & LINE PULL
- Max Line speed at rim of drum: 350 mtr/min
- Line pull at core of drum: 1550 lbs+
- Line speed and line pull can be customised.
POWER PACK
- 23 hp Petrol engine driven hydraulic power pack.
- Spark Arrestor type muffler at exhaust.
- Both mechanical and electric starting system available.
OPTIONS
- Truck mounted PTO driven units can also be supplied on customer request.
UDT Flyline
UDT make Skid mounted one or two piece wireline unit comprising power pack module with 84-125 hp diesel engine and winch unit. This is compact , versatile , self-contained.
UDT Truckline
UDT make Truckline unit is a truck mounted wireline winch unit consisting of reel skid and power skid suitably mounted on right hand 6x4 drive truck chassis delivering power from 200 HP to 420 HP.
UDT Landline
Land line winch consists of Reel Skid (includes Drum compartment and operator cabin) and crane mounted on the rear of truck chassis delivering power from 280 HP to 420 HP.
